Works involved the construction and fitout of a new 64 bed single storey nursing home with dementia care unit located at Clonberne, Co Galway. The significant health and safety issues relating to this project centered around the construction methods and sequences used as the works proposed were undertaken while the existing residents remained in the existing Nursing Home.

The project involved the building of a new extension to an existing nursing home, consisting of new bedrooms, ensuites, day rooms, swimming pool, reception, shop and chapel. Works also included the complete upgrade of existing nursing home which involved a significant amount of liaising with management and relocation of patients to different areas in order to complete upgrade work.  Site development works involved new staff and visitor parking, entrance walkways & paths, site lighting along with hard and soft landscaping.
