The works consisted of the construction of a new national school on the existing St Joseph’s Boys National School site in Kilcock, Co. Kildare with an overall floor area of 3,000 square metres. The new building comprised of 16 Classrooms, Offices, GP Hall, Reception, Staff Room, Multi-Purpose, SET Rooms, Library, Servery, Special Needs Unit and ancillary accommodation of toilets and circulation areas.

Site development works included the provision of hard and soft landscaping, bin stores, car parking spaces, disabled parking spaces, bicycle parking spaces and shelters, metal gates, signage, extensive hard and soft landscaping, lighting, CCTV, new railings and boundary wall treatments. Works also involved the demolition of the existing school buildings, making way for new grass playing pitches and basketball courts.
