Technimark Ireland development involved the major expansion of their existing production facility located in Co. Longford. Technimark has doubled the size of its existing plant with a 50,000sq ft extension as part of an investment to increase the facility’s capacity in medical manufacturing, including precision injection moulding, value-added assembly, finished device assembly and contract manufacturing.

The works consisted of the construction and completion of the manufacturing technology building with large scale clean room facilities, production areas, staff offices, gowning up areas along with ancillary accommodation such as storage rooms, tool rooms, reception, and canteen facilities. The building also incorporated a number of heavy duty gantry cranes and hoisting equipment and stacked storage fixtures. Building works included a substantial precast piled foundation, reinforced ground floor concrete slabs, blockwork, structural steel frame, and extensive roof and wall cladding finishes combined with a complex mechanical and electrical installation.  Site development works involved the construction of new roads, paths and paving’s, hard and soft landscaping, site signage, line marking, site services and connecting into existing utilities, new automatic entrance barriers, construction of loading docks and delivery bays, staff parking and the installation of EV charging stations.
